One-year-old cat, a victim of hoarding

This is an archived article and the information in the article may be outdated. Please look at the time stamp on the story to see when it was last updated.

Gracie is the first cat that we've featured on Furry Fix. She's a one-year-old petite feline who was a victim of hoarding.

When Gracie was first rescued, she was living in a storage unit with 70 other cats and no air conditioning. The animals were piled into dog crates stacked on top of each other. Gracie is the last of the rescued bunch who's up for adoption at Humane Society of Broward County and she is looking for her forever home.

Want to check out more of the animals up for adoption at HSBC? Check out a few of the featured pets, or drop by HSBC located at 2070 Griffin Road in Fort Lauderdale.

*Special Adoption Event:

This Black Friday, HSBC is hosting an event. They will open an hour early and "door busters" will be offered. During this time, the adoption fees will be waived for select pets. After the door buster hour, the adoption fee will be 1/2 price for all pets one year of age and older.
